SKYE CHRISTENSEN , Executive Director
With ten years of experience in media and arts education, Skye has worked both as an instructor and administrator at multiple Bay Area colleges and world-renowned arts nonprofits such as San Francisco State University, Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco and the Museum of the Moving Image in New York. In addition to arts education, Skye has ample experience in film production, as an independent producer/director. As a second generation San Francisco native, Skye is committed to supporting independent media in the Bay Area, actively working to empower diverse communities. Skye holds a B.A. from UC Berkeley and a M.A. from San Francisco State University’s Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts program.

ADAM ASHWORTH , Information Technology Manager
Adam is the Technology Coordinator of the Ninth Street Independent Film Center. His career began as an Information Technology intern to one of the agencies at Ninth Street back in 2005, and he rapidly moved up the ranks. Adam has been a strong influence in the centralization of Information Technology for all the major film organizations within the Consortium ever since. Adam holds a B.A. from San Francisco State University's Cinema program.

JON BASTIAN, Projectionist
Jon is an independent contractor for Ninth Street, the official Audio/Visual expert in the building since 2002. Jon’s expertise has been instrumental in building a professional Screening Room to at Ninth Street and, moreover, maintaining the A/V needs of the facility. Jon has sharpened his skills as a projectionist with just about every notable Film Festival in the Bay Area and produces the monthly event, “Magic Bus Movie Night.”
ROBYN BYKOFSKY, Youth Media Manager
For over a decade, Robyn has been working closely with Bay Area educators and youth in public schools, afterschool programs and non-profit organizations to better engage learners through digital media production. Throughout this time, she has been actively involved with TILT (circa 1999) instructing dozens of media literacy/production workshops, developing curriculum, designing TILT’s new website, and now taking on the role of the Youth Media Manager. In addition to TILT, Robyn has designed sound for independent films and was also the Staff Sound Engineer at the illustrious Berkeley Repertory Theatre for five seasons. Robyn received her BA in audio and video production from San Francisco State University and holds a Masters in Education with a focus in technology from Harvard Graduate School of Education.

BRIAN SCHULZ, Operations Manager
Brian has worked at Ninth Street Independent Film Center since 2006, coming on board as the Operations Manager in September 2008. Responsible for bookkeeping and building management, to name just a few, Brian coordinates building operations with partners, tenants and contractors. With five years experience as a landlord and five years in non-profit bookkeeping, Brian also has an extensive background in direct mail fundraising for nonprofits, having worked as an Account Executive for over a decade. Brian has a degree in Political Science from Earlham College.
