Ninth Street Welcomes Lexi Leban

As new Executive Director of the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival and Ninth Street Board Member, Lexi brings 20 years of experience as an educator and award-winning independent filmmaker. Lexi comes to SFJFF from the Art Institute of California where she was the Director of the Digital Filmmaking & Video Production program. Her award-winning films focus on women's rights, criminal justice and LGBT issues; with a feature documentary, Girl Trouble, funded by ITVS and KQED, aired nationally on the acclaimed PBS series Independent Lens and winning Best Bay Area documentary at the SF International Film Festival.
