@ NINTH STREET
Promoting diverse voices in media, Ninth Street presents special screenings and forums that bring together our seven partner organizations, and an impressive array of media arts professionals, to participate in collaborative, culturally distinct programming. World renown exhibitors such as the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival, Frameline and the Center for Asian American Media present work at Ninth Street in an intimate, close-up-and-personal setting.

Additionally, Ninth Street partners with the San Francisco Dance Film Festival, the San Francisco Women's Film Festival and various other community film festivals. Capitalizing on our ability to collaborate and further develop diverse communities, Ninth Street supports an array of innovative media arts projects throughout the year.

FILMMAKER EVENTS
Artists are given the opportunity to screen work publicly in a professional environment at Ninth Street Independent Film Center. Our Screening Room hosts film festivals, launch parties, fundraisers, test screenings, and more – all fundamental to the filmmaking process. To ensure the Screening Room is truly accessible to independent media artists, our public Space Rentals are possibly the best deal in town.
